Please help! 1999 Porsche 996 Engine or Tranny issues

1999 Porsche c2 cab with VF supercharger, headers, straight threw exhaust.

Mechanic replaced valve cover gaskets and oil seperator. He did not put back on the crank case breather tube to the air intake from the top of the oil separator. I left the shop, and drove approx 20 miles. Car seems to hesitate and miss every so often. It went away. Under full throttle at 6500rpm the car suddenly lost power and died. I let go of the excellerator and gear down with the clutch in. I let the clutch out and the engine caught. I pulled over and noticed oil leaking out of the rear main seal, which was later confirmed at the shop. The boot from the charge cooler to the throttle had also come of (again). The motor makes no noises and runs smooth. No smoke out exhaust and no noticeable amount making it back into the intake (I checked with the breather hose installed and it was dry). There is a very little tick/knock comming from what appearing to be the tail of the tranny (closest to the driver)or the center. Oil pressure does not go over 4 on the guage when it used to be over five. Oil light does not come on. Guage shows between 0 and 1 at idle when it used to show between 1-2. Oil used in 20w50 royal purple. Oil was changed and has no metal flakes in it. Oil pressure is low. Power is down. Feels like it has 100hp less. Any ideas on what is wrong guy's? Any help or guesses on what to do would be much appreciated. (besides buying a 997 turbo or installing a new engine..lol)

Problem Solved

The engine is shot! It was tired a long time ago. A quick look at the oil filter revealed different colors of metal flakes. Oh well, not to impressed with the 3.4 liter anyways. Does anyone have a 3.6 n/a for sale? Does a 3.8 work for a 997?
