I have been looking at many different Porsche VIN's on cars selling at ebay and most 84 models were made in 83 as with most cars today. Example being: 2004 produced in 2003
It looks according to the car that the manufacture date on my 84 911 shows it was produced in late 1984 and yet it is an 84 model and not an 85. I am curious why this is and if it was one of the last models to be produced for that year model and if anything in the VIN can explain it.
