Best vendors for mods for mid 80's 911's?

Just picked up an 88 Targa & want to do exhaust, suspension, interior touches, & maybe a chip.

Where's/who's my best sources?

Also looking for 8 or 9 inch black Fuchs for the rear

Fabspeed would be my recommendation. Long-time Porsche tuner that does a lot with older models as opposed to a lot of places that specialize in the 996+ series cars.

Spoke with Steve Wong in great length about the mods for these cars. Great info. Starting out with his ECU & Premuffler & a M&K Sport exhaust.

You might want to give Carquip a call on the Fuchs. I seem to recall that they had a set for your rears. (303) 443-1343 ext 1 talk to Glenn. He is off on Fridays but should be able to help you on Monday.

Hope that this helps,

Erik Johnson

Contact Rob King (owner) @ S-Car-Go Racing in San Rafael, might not be close to you, but he's the best w/ 911's for suspension, engine, wheels, etc. He might have a used set of Fuchs for you as well. 415-485-6026
