Newbe - Post #1!

So, I just bought an '85 Carrera targa; Euro version yesterday (serialed as "COO" w/ the row "zzz" in the vin, import tag). All original and optioned (heated seats, power locks/windows, etc.). It has 81k, and was daily driver for a while, and that's what I plan upon using it for. It's a good "20 foot" auto, has the typical blemishes of a 25 year old used car.

Doesn't need much, but I will want to put in a new dash before long, I think - the original has peeled back from near the windshield. Suggestions on where to get the dash, and how to go about this? Should I "pay the man"? (I'm fairly auto-handy, put a 'vette engine in my build '76 land cruiser).

Thanks - I'm looking forward to being part of the community, and playing with my new toy!
