hey everybody! I am a new owner of a 2007 porsche 911 carrera 911 4s cabriolet. What an amazing car. Just looking for a little info or possibly some upgrades (if any) I could do to this car? Where would you start? What would you do? Any ideas, information or directions is much appreciated. Thanks!

 

Congratulations, drive if for a few months first because the car, as is, might get your pucker tickin' without any upgrades. In the meantime, hit the search button on this forum. Enough for several months of reading and salivating and saving money to be able to afford these little expenses.

Well, you can not run it on a track as it is a cab. So that is out, that means pretty well all racing gizmo's are kinda wasted. Let's make it pretty, larger rims = 4K, new tires = 2 K, a coil-over suspension= 3 k, racing seats = 3 K Oh, racy exhaust... make it a titanium one 3-5 K. 15K pus labor so far. That's a good start! Need to see pictures of course :-)

 

I actually have 20" rims and new tires. Was hoping to gain more in torque or hp. Anything I could research or do in that category. Ive been looking at aftermarket turbos but doesnt seem to be any for this model. Do you ever launch your car? I really want to but am terrified to wreck something!!

 

TPC has a pretty well sorted Turbo system from what I hear. Also, you might look at the VF Engineering supercharger system. I recently saw a special for the supercharger $8,500 with free installation. Besides that, the 4s is an animal. I added the softronic tune and Fabspeed 200 cell cats recently and it added nice amounts of torque and HP to the but dyno. Much better throttle response throughout the RPM range.
