Gents, I'm a H20-cooled 911 driver, so this isn't my RFI. My son, who lives in central Indiana, has access to a nice '86 3.2 Carrera that he's interested in buying (from his former brother-in-law).

I did a search for things to look for, but I came up dry (I didn't spend hours looking, but I did look).

For those of you who've been around the block a time or two with the old air cooled 911s of that era, what advice would you pass to me that I can pass to him on what to look for, and what to avoid. \

The current owner has had the car for ages, but he doesn't drive it much (it does start and run).

Any advice (or links to advice) that you fellas can provide would be greatly appreciated.
