1988 911 Carrera - worth?

Hi all,

My grandfather is getting ready to be moved into a 'home' and we need to start moving some of his goodies... He's got a blue/grey 1988 Carrera with just under 45k original miles on the clock. The car is completely stock and has been well maintained (and lived in a garage) since he bought it new. I don't know much more about it just yet (it is currently garaged in CO and I live in VA) but I'm considering having it shipped over here to make sure everything is good with it before we really try to sell it... Any thoughts on what something like this might go for (to the right person)?

Thanks much!

It's hard to tell with out seeing it, but in decent condition and needing just a minor things I would think some where around 35k. That's just a guess, I'm sure other will chime in soon.

I happen to be looking at an 85 with 50K on it that's in outstanding condition for $33K if that helps. Is this a coupe, cab or targa? Do you know if it has spoilers?

I am very interested and don't need it looked at before purchase. If you are interested shoot me a PM and we can talk.

Thanks
Roy
