1983 911 starting issues - Help!


motor starts then dies, to keep it running have to keep idle high, when finally get motor up to operating temp. it runs through the gears without quitting but is rich.
has been sitting for a couple of years with only being started in the spring for a bit.

Likely needs a tune up, fluid change, valve adjustment (maybe). I had the same issue then did each the things mentioned and she's happy.
