I've reposted my question front he 356 section as this section probably gets a lot more traffic

I'm considering purchasing a 356 in Los Angeles. I live a LONG way from LA so I was wondering if anyone can recommend an independent shop that can perform a very detailed body inspection to examine the car for typical rust spots/weakness areas, panel gaps, paint quality, etc. etc.)?

I used Dennis McDonald from Auto Docs's Inspection out there when I bought a 97 land rover defender, which can be a rust pit, to say the least. He did an amazing inspection, very thorough, and detailed report in, out, and under. He takes many pictures and gives you his expert opinions on items. In addition, the report is sent via email within 24 hours. I bought the rig sight unseen, and it was perfect.
