Very nice. Those are very rare. How many were made in 89? How many were made in 93-94?

There were 1,242 made worldwide in '89 and only 581 of the 964's. Depending on where you look and who you ask the numbers vary but there are far less 964's.

I *think* there were 771 built in 93 and 154 built in 94, I would have to check for sure.

Garnet, check out this site. I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are because it says over 900 964's were built for MY1993 and 2000 '89's! I didn't think there were than many made but I could be wrong.

I have the 1989 model which only 823 were built for the USA and 2065 worldwide. They only made it in 1989.

For the 964 model, 936 speedsters were built.

My father had a unique one...the Rinspeed car made for the Geneva Car Show. It had a 3.3 Turbo engine. Sort of 964 Speedster Turbo 3.3...it was based on a '89 Speedster and was made before the 964 Speedster...I think in 91 but I'm not sure:

I know this is an old thread, but there's very little info on the subject of
'89 and '94 911 Speedsters. I have an '89 911 Speedster with a little below 11K miles. It's great to drive here in Arizona, although in the past 10 years I've only met two other similar owners in-state.
