I was in the parking garage of an apatment complex today in downtown SLC today. I was walking minding my own business, and, hello! what do I see? An original 1980 something 911 Carrera sitting in there with original UT license plates (the ooooooolllllllddddd ones!).

I asked the maintenance guy about it and he said its been sitting there for 3.5 years and the owner doesn't even live there anymore. It is Silver with black interior. The odo said 42,864 miles! I asked about purchasing it and he said hes tried twice already and the owner won't sell, just sits there! What a waste! Such a gem that can be completely detailed, a good tune-up and your good!

The body was clean and straight! No rust, dings, paint chips! Original 5-star black/polished wheels the works! Sucks, would've been a great little project!

I kept asking the maintenance guy but he wouldn't budge on any info. I got shots of the car and the plates. I can probably have my uncle run them through the police data base and get the owners' info.

I could give that thing a complete detail and it would be beautiful.

Why not run the VIN through Carfax? Ought to generate a lot of info.
