so I got this old 87 944, the suspension is shot, bounces around like an old cadillac, now I am not looking for a race set up or anything (already got plenty of race cars) just a good street set up. will new struts make a big enough difference or do I need to upgrade the springs too? and would like opinions on different brands.

 

I first installed Koni yellow adjustable shocks, and that made a small improvement. I then replaced the front coils to 250lbs, and the reat torsions to 28mm. That made an incredible diference. The car has almost no roll. I also got an slight improvment by replacing all suspension bushing to solid.
The car is a great track car and in still very well behaved as a daily driver.
