FS: 1982 Porsche 924 Turbo
I might as well put a new post in this forum.
I'm selling my project 1982 931, which I purchased only a few months ago from the owner who had let it sit in a field for ~5 years. The 1982 models have the improved S2 version engine with many enhancements and a few extra hp from other years. There were only 900 of them in the US, so finding one is very rare.
The car needs work! The great previous owner decided to take apart part of the engine (turbo, air box, turbo piping, radiator piping, part of the exhaust) to get at the turbo and then stopped working on the car. For that reason, the car is partially disassembled but all parts are included with the car.
This would make an excellent project car for someone. Desirable options include: AC, 5 speed manual, 5 bolt spider web wheels, and disc brakes.
Below are photos, and the car is located in North Hollywood. Price is $1000 firm. I went through a lot of hassle getting the car from Yuba City to North Hollywood, and the only reason I'm selling is to make room for different 931.
The exterior is blue, and in very good condition with no dents or accidents. The only notable flaw is the oxidation on the right rear fender (pictured). The interior is also very good, but the seats need to be recovered and the steering wheel has broken spokes for some reason.
