My Turbo DESTROYS Fan Belts! Help!
Hello all,
I have a 1989 Turbo that I recently purchased from a friend. The car had sat for many years prior to my purchasing it, and has needed a bit of work to get everything back into working order. It only has 40k original miles. Since I have had the car, and driven it a total of 150 miles or so, I have gone through three, yes three, fan belts. Now, the car does have an Andial Turbo/Intercooler on the car so I do not know if this is related to it, but it has become sort of a nuisance at this point. Is there anything you experts can recommend to me to do to help stop this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In addition to checking the pulleys, make sure the fan housing is securely bolted in place and properly, and also check your alternator to make sure the bearings are shot and the shaft isn't wobbling around.
