Beautiful car man.

I almost bought one a couple years ago but could not find one in fare enough condition. Nor did I think it would make the best DD.

Yours looks mint though!

You said you were going to the track to see what it ran... well??

Thanks drove it in to work today so its funny you posted. The engine was completely rebuilt around 30k and at that point they did a whole bunch of stuff. I don't have the list on this computer. I think it was pretty standard upgrades for the time; internals, fuel (recently replaced with andial unit) clutch/flywheel, lower gear ratio (tops out at 150 or so) exhaust, larger turbo, wastegate and 1.0 spring, IC. I haven't had the chance to duplicate the dyno #'s but it was supposed to be good for 400 rwhp.

Rolled over 70k miles last month and it's still a blast to drive!

Your car sounds awesome....nice rebuild work. 400 HP in an 83 930 must be a great car to drive. I have done a lot of engine work and am running around 325 or so HP in my 87 911. I have to admit though that I haven't seen a 930 on the road around here in years.....
