Hey all. I thought it fit to introduce myself. My names matt, i live in bridgewater New jersey. Ive been lurking around here for awhile but never actually joined untill recently. My first car was a 1987 944, with a turbo swap from another year 944., black with black leather/cloth insert interior. While driving it me and my father noticed a violent lifter knock one day, and the engine received a full rebuild.
It seems in live in general when one problem falls , another arises. After the rebuild, a fair amount of rust was discovered in the floors. The interior of the car still isnt back in one piece, as the seats were sent out to be recovered and then the place shut down..long story short, never saw those seats again. The cars paint ..well..its been black when random sanded down/primered area's for awhile. and the suspension, although tight, needs new front end bushings as wall as some tie rod ends, etc..
This car has been a real project, and ive subjected myself to getting another car (1990 VW gti, Vr6 swap, built trans, LSD, etc..) But expect to soon see me on here alot more, and pictures of my car will surface as well.
