964 Tt
2 years! wow, truly a keeper. I have a 964 America widebody that was transformed with built 3.8 993tt motor and drivetrain. Thing is scary fast and super fun. Commands deep respect but with JRZ 3way, its very predictable and has great compliance(w/o roll) as well.
Get that thing outa the shop and on the road, you'll love it!

I've driven it around 1,000 miles. Break-in for the new motor then a bit of normal driving and yes, its fabulous.
My buddy has a '94 speedster w/same set up and its a flexi-flier, but he has all H&R race bits under it which helps quite a bit.
Will keep you up to date as things progress.
Not big on personalize plates, but figured this car could use something special....if I don't like it I can always go back to the oe plate.

I want to put some of the car back together before I snap some pics. Right now its pretty naked....with lots of freshly painted parts placed neatly and very carefully all over the garage.
Will do. It had to go back to the body shop for a few small "issues"....so back to the black hole. When it is finished and I get some bumpers, etc. hung on it I'll post some pics. I just had the wire harness done w/deletion of unnecessary wire...like stereo/amp, 3rd brake light elect seat, etc. etc. About 10 lbs of wire out....will need to have the headliner and felt carpet installed when it gets back. Need to mount roll care before carpet can go in....need to do headliner before mount cage...and the list goes on and on and on....
Now you guys are probably getting an idea of how f'n long this project is taking. Car goes for suspension this week, then back to paint to fix a couple of small things and shoot the bottom of rockers....then FINISHED. I promise some pics here directly.
A few updated pics. Will have more after suspension finished. But here's an idea of some stuff. Pic of the interior w/Factory Speedster seats and you can see some of the aluminum cage...pic of the rear of the car, pic of the wheels and the cool finish and finally a pic of the custom airbox.
