Cat Bypass Pipes-For Off-Road Use Only
For those 991 turbo owners that are going to the track and want to remove the catalyst for racing purposes we have a cat-bypass pipe available. It's an easy bolt-on part that can be used with the stock muffler or a slip-on aftermarket muffler line an Akrapovic.
DYNO CHART WITH CAT-BYPASS, STOCK MUFFLER AND STOCK TUNE-
You will see that the car comes on power much quicker with the cat-bypass pipes. You will also see that the fuel mixture runs much leaner which means that their is a lot of extra power on the table when combined with a tune.

Now you can see just how much power a tune can make with the cat-bypass pipes. You will notice that the motor still comes up on power much earlier but it continues to make great power through the entire power band.

This is the best bang for your buck exhaust upgrade for those guys that are looking for an off-road track set up.

It will. If you want to avoid seeing the check engine light you will need to add a tune.
