I do have to disclose that I am fond of the Cayman styling as well.
I don't know what trimmer means, but it certainly does not look lighter than a 996 TT given it's relative girth. It looks bloated actually.

As for the weight, we will see when it comes out as Porsche isn't exactly forthcoming with true weights. The GT3 continues to get fatter and is the heaviest ever, don't be surprised if the TT follows that trend with a ton of electronic aids adding weight.

It looks alright. I'm wondering how will it perform!! With the 991 GT3 going with PDK, three pedals may become extinct.

Hmmm...not a fan of what I'm seeing, but I do of course recognize that it's not the finished production model either. Perhaps the finished product will impress us more!

Rear wing is disappointing. I prefer GT3 at this point.

Anyone notice that in the photos, the dual exhaust pipes are far apart like the current 997TT, but in the video, the black 991TT has a dual center exit exhaust ala GT3.

I think the performance will be great, but the looks are disappointing for me. I think the high intake scoop on the rear quarters look out of place and the front marker lights look awkward.

Especially the rear with the small wing.

What's up with the rear guards? Cayman 2.0. Gone are the days of flowing lines and subtlety. Less is more. I like the butt of my 997 thanks.

well looks like your ride is 4-5 years old and even though you don't seem to generate it, they created a bazillion of them. All you're doing is protecting the car that the next proprietor will get a lot on . . . . . . . . . . . .

I agree that the GT3 looks much better.
