A few questions about Turbo order

I placed a deposit on an order for a '14 Turbo a week or two ago and went to the dealer yesterday to configure the car. FWIW...will be a dark blue metallic base Turbo, Burmeister, SC and I think nicely detailed with white faced gauges, brushed aluminum, light design, etc.. The dealer is telling me a February build with an anticipated March delivery.
Does Porsche update dealers on build status or is this going to be a somewhat blind process wherein I'll get a phone call at some point in the future telling the car is at the dealer? The salesman told me that they get some sort of update on orders on a regular basis.
Should I expect any discount off MSRP? I've inquired, but haven't shopped based on it. Most of the cars I've bought over the last few years (GT-R's, GT500's, '14 Stingray) have been selling at pretty much MSRP based on demand.

Thanks.
S.

I found that the allocations are coming in quicker than expected, I was originally told July or August for a turbo S, now I'm told that I could expect one as soon as April. I've been given 3% on msrp and I didn't ask for it.
