I think it only works because it's a supercar. I wouldn't try it with something not of supercar status. But hey, it's whatever makes you happy!

I would suggest find a middle ground i.e. Prioritize whether its yellow exterior or red interior that you really want and the decide the other color accordingly. I've seen yellow with black and that suits yellow the best. Second interior option could be espresso. I've seen 997 in yellow with cocoa brown they didn't offer espresso back then.

If your priority is red interior your exterior choices are lot more such as white, black, grey and silver. I've seen or had all of these with red interior and you can't go wrong there.

Just my opinion and suggestion but since you're paying for it go with what makes you happy :-)
