This baby arrived earlier this week. Its been raining for most of the week. Since I couldn't really drive it much and all the excitement of a new car I spent the first few days in my garage tinkering. Drove it today and it is significantly better in terms of technology compared to my 997 turbo. I was having the same doubts as other forum members regarding the value/price of these new turbos. What's up with the black vinyl over the engine louvers?

 

I guess I beat you to it, my VIN is 166654.
As for the rear louvre- I was so excited that I spent the the 1st two days in the garage tinkering. For me that's half the fun of owning a 911- it's one of the rare cars that you can modify and I like to do most of the work myself. Also most of the stuff I do is removable.

 

These are some old door edge guards that I had before. You can get these at any local auto parts store.
