Ideal color with the GT Silver, black dash red seats. Doesn't get much better than that. Enjoy in good health.

I keep hearing about rattles in Porsches----has QC slipped here??? Hard to believe they could not eliminate these?????

Love the car singlespeed... briliant combo.

Im coming close to getting a TT-S myself and I really like the OEM wheels but am not so famliar with the centerlock set up. Can we put spacers on those wheels to push out the gap a little bit?

Any info by chance on springs to bring the car down maybe 20mm more?

Finally a Turbo S without a glass roof! Does your silver with red/black have a sunroof or is it a sunroof delete car?

It has a sunroof which I rarely use. The looks of the glass roof is not my cup of tea.

Singlespeed -- This is a long-dormant thread, but I thought I'd weigh in again. I communicated earlier and showed my Boxster and 996TT in GT Silver and Arctic, respectively.


I've admired your combination ever since and went in a couple weeks ago to see about ordering a TT (not S) in that combo. Wound up falling in love with the GTS they had on display, and just ordered one in this same combo today. Three long months await me, but I've done it before -- I can make it!

Only bummer is they're not taking deviated (black) carpet orders for the GTS in red/black interiors, so it will be red carpets with black mats. Turbo still allows you to select either red or black carpets.


Anyway, hope you're still enjoying yours...

I think you will like the red carpet in your GTS much more than the deviated carpet option. IMHO, the deviated option makes the red leather pieces look like they were installed in the wrong interior and this is especially prevalent in the rear seat area.

The online configurator allows the Turbo S to have deviated carpet, but not the Turbo. I have the Turbo S with red carpet and I absolutely love it!
