White Car Care

This is my first vehicle in white. I have noticed that it easily picks up visible dirt particles or road grime , especially compared to my other vehicles that were darker colors (black, red, silver). Also my garage must release some fine black dust particles that this car attracts like a magnet. I have to use a dust brush even one day after a car wash. A car cover would solve the problem, but that is to impractical. Any advice.

Welcome to the world of white cars.

I regularly wash my car (once a week) and keep a few quick-wipe solutions and towels handy. Meguiar's Quik Detailer is a good way to touch-up the car and wipe away any grime or dirt on the car between washes.

Otherwise, I've come to accept the inevitable. I'm sure there are other solutions out there, but a thorough wash every week, and a couple of Quik Detailer sessions, keep her looking clean all the time.

Overall though, white is the easiest to maintain.

Love my white car. Always shinny shows no micro scratches with just using a good spray glaze.
