Changes between 14 and 15 TT?
- Patrick
Mine was 13% off a new 2014 991 TTS in dealer stock. Was offered 7% off if I ordered a 2015.
Great to hear, 13%,, you about stole it! Think about the Buyers a year ago paying close to sticker. Checking cars.com there are 2014 Turbo/ Turbo S left BUT there are LOADS of used 2014's for sale. Amazing to see how many are being sold used with low mileage??
It was explained to me by several Porsche dealers that Porsche overproduced 2014 911 Turbo S models and as a result there was a glut of them. As a result, Porsche will be producing far less Turbo S models for the 2015 model year. I have no idea if this is accurate or not but was told that by several different dealers. This included dealers trying to sell me a 2015 ordered car. Best discount I got on the ordered car was 7% off. Given that there have been no substantial changes from 2014 to 2015 I jumped at the 13% off on the 2014.
I got $13K off a $165k stickered 2015 TT car that I spec'd out myself. I also received a 3 month reprieve on my leased '09 TT cab. So, about $17.5 in savings. Car arrived today. Woo hoo ... !
I don't think this is a particularly good deal, tho. I can get this amount off a highly optioned Chevy Tahoe with a sticker of $58K.
Go figure, eh.
But, if you like Porsches ... then be prepared to bring along some lubricant of your own specifications. Some deals are better than others, some dealers are better to deal with than others as well.

Yes I have a dealer who is willing to deal for the 991 TTS. PM sent.
