I have a 991 Turbo S. Sounded a bit plain to me as stock (a very subjective view of course). So, I added a straight through exhaust which removes all mufflers:

Branded Cargraphic - seems fine but I don't have first hand experience of other products.

To me it still was a bit muted, so added 200 cell cats as well:

The cats have not triggered any CEL. To put the exhaust only on took about 2 hrs, no special tools needed.

To put on the cats took about 7 hours, but that was because the pre drilled holes in the cats would not line up with the turbo bolt holes. To remedy that we drilled out the cat hole a bit (its not a threaded hole, just a hole), if we'd done that straight away, 2 hrs would fit the cats. Again no special tools required, didn't need to remove bumper, just a decent lift to get access underneath. The cats are branded Cargraphic, the actual core is HJS / Emitec. Again seem fine, apart from the fit, which wasn't correct.

Here's a quick clip of a few 991 TT and TTS heading into the straightaway at a local track. All are stock exhaust except for my TT with Cargraphic. You should be able to hear a difference in sound. Also a GT3 RS 4.0 in there for a comparison. This is roughly 60 to 140MPH.

Here's another clip with just the Cargraphic at track speed. I will say normal driving is a pleasure especially with all the burps and gurgles.

I've gone through the exact same struggle with almost every one of my cars over the years. Without being able to hear each one of these options in person, I went with what a friend of mine recommended, GMG.

After TAG installed the system I spent 3 hours driving home from San Diego and love the sound of the exhaust. The car now sounds deep and aggressive, without being harsh and annoying. Perfect from my perspective. Have not had a chance to drive the car hard so can't share my view of the performance increase with the GIAC tune and GMG exhaust. I will post a full review and my observations once I've had some seat time.

Europipe. Very melodic and tuned perfect imo for a street car with added back burble and WOT enjoyment. Can't go wrong unless you are wanting a much louder car. Personally, I wanted something similar to stock with a bit more UMPF...and i got 100% of what i was looking for.

For those who asked, here are sound clips of Tubi Street and Tubi Race exhaust systems for the 991 Turbo. Also we have both cars available if you want to hear them in person.

The street system with 200 cell HJS cats is perfect for the person who wants a decent bump in sound and performance, without the aggressive backfiring and popping that is characteristic of the 991 platform turbo cars.

For those want the most aggressive solution possible, with all the characteristic popping and gunfire...the Tubi Race is the way to go.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Cargraphic, are you enjoying the sound or you still think it's a bit shy to you?

Thanks Tom, I would love to visit and hear in person. Unfortunately I live in Canada... Would you please post more videos of the two systems?

Great sound!!! Do you have the full Race system or just the X pipe? With flaps or not? Thanks.

Congrats on the GMG setup, and can't wait to watch some videos from you.

It's not silly loud. Personally I could take a bit more, but given it's straight pipes with 200 cats, that's not possible unless I delete the cats which will cause a CEL and I'm not messing with software. So I'm happy as I can be as the turbos absorb a chunk of sound.
