It probably does reduce the output. I do not notice it however. I also live in the city so it is not as critical than if lived in the country.

Edited: Oh, I realized it was originally red interior, then added the black leather on dashboard and upper door panels.
On the TTS you can get the two tone interior- red and black. Evidently you cannot do the same on the TT. You can only get the full red interior and that was a little to red for me. So, my dealer manually broke it up.
