Got a new Turbo
Wow, 10% off MSRP on a '14 TT is a super-strong deal. The market varies geographically, but I recently made a bunch of calls to Northeast dealers around the NYC metro area (including NJ, PA and CT) and the best I was able to find on a '14 was approx 6% off. Dealers were offering larger discounts, up to approx 10%, on '14 TTSs.
The markets definitely vary. At Park Place they just sold the Mexico blue 15 they had for only 3k off a 198k car. They are not big on discounting the Turbos or the gt3's yet. Here are a few quick pictures I took yesterday after it got delivered. I have only put about 40 miles on it, but WOW is the car amazing.

Actually I bought the Mexico blue TTS from park place yesterday for a little over 13k off sticker. I could have worked for a little more off but 2 people were waiting behind me to deal on it.
It is absolutely AWESOME.

Super nice!
Doc, I had seen Jordan driving that car last week and loved it. The Mexico blue looks great on the new TTS. As for the discount nice work...They probably told me they do not discount because they were not very pleased with me grounding my previous 991 there and buying from out of state. I will still use Park Place for service. I am actually having them wrap the front end of the car and tint it tomorrow. Hopefully I will see you at Cars and Coffee or a PCA event.
Thanks guys. I love the whole combo. The clear roof is probably my favorite new feature. Functionally I miss the multifunction steering wheel, but the PSD wheel looks better. I only have 130 miles on the car since Saturday and the car is phenomenally quick.

I am looking for someone to install Xpel or equivalent for me, and was thinking of just using the dealership given my car is PTS and I don't want to take any chances with a bad install. Let me know how yours looks and what you think.
They weren't happy about my discount, but I went "armed". I have used Autobahn for a couple of past purchases and they will give me a set discount which Park Place had to meet, and happily for me Park Place beat it by a small amount. I was going to order a TT but now thanks to that awesome color I couldn't leave without it and now the proud owner of a TTS!!

Oh I agree about the steering wheel, as I too am a fan of the multifunction. But I have to say, the little stick is awfully quick to scroll thru the options and I only miss my volume adjust being closer now that I am used to it.
A few shots from Cars and Coffee. Goes in next Tuesday for red seat belts. I figured I would add a pop of color since I picked it up off the lot vs built. If I do not like them i can always pull them out.

I had been checking around for the pull forward and was going to wait for the MY16 to come along and build a Agate C4S with sport design kit. After a few calls and a little negotiation the price of a leftover 14 Turbo became pretty close to what I would have spent on a built C4S.
Here are the options. It still annoys me there is no keyless entrance, but it was not a deal killer. I will post more pictures once the car gets delivered to Dallas from out of state.

Does it matter if you go from a current lease to a purchase with the pull ahead program or do you have to continue to lease?
Thanks in advance...
The TT is beautiful - enjoy!

I was able to buy the car in California and have it shipped and had it 3 days later in Texas. I signed the paperwork in CA, wired the money to the dealer. I flew back to Dallas and took my 2013 C2 to Park place where they gave me a form to ground the car there. After a quick inspection i gave them the keys and released the car. With that grounding form I sent it to Rusnak in CA and they used this to send to PFS.
It makes no difference if you are going from a lease to purchase as long as you use PFS. As part of the deal I had to finance a small amount through PFS for a period of 6 months to take advantage of the pull ahead. After the 6 month period you can pay the car off in full with no penalty..
