997 vs 991 comparo

Hello!

Other member post this pics on the 997 section to compare the two platforms, and suggest post it in the 991 section to see the reaction of the 991 turbo owners... personally I'm thinking of buying a 991 Turbo so I will like to know if any of you did the jump from a 997 to a 991 and why

The are both awesome machines. I made the jump from a 2012 TTS in july which I drove for 2-3 years. 997 has more of a sports car feel versus GT feel of the 991. In my opinion, the 991 has wonderful rear flares and great lines. Better front end clearance, larger interior that is more comfortable for larger people (i'm 6'2"). The rear steering adds another dimension in handling, closing the gap between GT3 handling. The suspension is superb in the 991, with unbelievable handling. Some people dislike the larger feel of the 991, but I prefer the GT, larger car feel. PDK is a little faster (minimal), essentially same engine. Burmeister option, keyless entry, adaptive cruise, LED headlights separate the luxury options. Overall the 991 is superb, no doubt I will be faster on a track with improved suspension and rear steering.
I love both cars, depends on what you want.
