Wrapping mirrors ... ?

Spoke with a person at the dealer regarding wrapping my sport mirrors in carbon fiber.

Said it would not look good since the mirrors are "too curvy" and the CF wrap would look all distorted.

Seems logical to me, but I don't know if this is just an aberration of a poorly accomplished wrap, or what.

Anyone have experience with wrapping 991 Turbo mirrors?
