At the time of the race was your car GIAC Stage 1 or 2?

Could someone give me the proper steps for switching GIAC flash to race. IE do I fill up with race fuel then start the car, hook in the loader and press race or do I it with the key in the on position but no engine on? Any help/tips would be appreciated!

Fill with race gas. Turn key to on but do not start. Press read. It should flash and stop on pump. Press race. It should start flashing and stop on race. That's it.

BTW do you just run the gas down to a range of 20 miles or so then fill with race fuel?

Slightly OT - Do you need to cycle through a tank of 100 before running the 100 tune? In other words, if you are at half a tank of 93 and fill up with 100, you are running a mix that is less than 100. I would think that you would need to run your tank back down to 1/4 and fill with 100 again until it is safe to run the 100 tune.

Is the 100 tune sophisticated enough to make adjustments if the actual gas in the tank is less than 100? I have a station near me (like 5 miles) that sells 100, but I wonder how often they run through that gas and how fresh it is.

For the best and safest results, you want your tank to be completely empty when you fill up with race gas. I'm not sure running a blend will hurt anything, but it will definitely produce suboptimal results.
