2014 Turbo S Cab Mileage/Value Correlation

I have a 2014 Turbo S Cab that I use as a semi-daily driver. Living in NJ and commuting to NY I do about 40 miles round trip. I love the car and want to drive it all the time, when the weather is nice (which now, finally, seems to be the case). I have about 6,300 miles on the clock right now, and I'm wondering if you all can help me understand the value curve on this car.

Most of the ones I see for sale in a 14/15 model year have no more than 7k or 8k miles and seem to hold their value relatively well (between 10-20% depreciation). My question is, if I keep the car and put between 6-8k miles on it per year over the next year or two, what can I expect in terms of resale?

Lastly, am I better getting out of the Turbo S and getting a 2015 C4S Cab, which I can lease and put 10k miles on? It certainly does not have the same rocketship qualities as the Turbo S, but may be better as a daily driver. I don't know. I'm torn. Sorry for the barrage of questions, but your advice is greatly appreciated. As you can tell, this is a very emotional decision for me!

~

Drive your car and enjoy. Clearly you could afford it to buy in the first place so no need to worry about the future. Drive it in the rain too it wont break. Don't save it for the next guy.

+1

Enjoy it. You would cry going from that car to a Carrera. Who cares what it will be worth. You bought it to enjoy it, so enjoy it until you want a different car.

I totally agree with everyone above, I have the same car as you and I just enjoy it.

I thought about trading n the 2014 TTS Cab in December for the GT3 and they offered me $165K on a car with a sticker of $205K in May. Once I heard that I stopped worrying about the value of the car, I already took the hit. In retrospect the offer was decent for what people are saying these cars are retailing for now.

So enjoy it! I only drive mine 5 miles each way I wish it were 40 miles...

Jeff
