Enzom you keep coming back looking for reasons to dump the 991TT. If you do not love it, get rid of it. The Cayenne is a great SUV and fast for what it is. Its just a car and maybe your circumstances will change again and you'll want the 911 back in the garage in time. Best of luck with the new ride.

I guess you can see it that way. Was looking for people who have been in my shoes and done it - reassurance I guess.

The 991 Turbo is an amazing car. I will miss it.

Drive what works best for you. Congratulations on the CTTS. They are amazing vehicles. Drove the Cayenne diesel off road at Barber and it performs feats that defy physics.
That said, the Panamera TTS is also a phenomenal vehicle. Basically, one cannot go wrong with a Porsche. Would have been fun to do track sessions in the same run group with you this season, but thanks for sharing your dilemma and decision. Definitely can relate to the daily driving situation in the city though.

I don't think you're nuts at all. I started out looking at the Range Rover Sport and Cayenne TT. Somehow I ended up with the 911 Turbo but I would have really loved either of the alternatives. Post pics!!

Thanks. Will do. Picking it up tomorrow. Drove the 911 this morning for the last time. And - wouldn't you know it - stuck behind a school bus for half the drive. It is a message.

That is maddening for sure.

Let us know how you like the CTTS!

And you gotta get the GIAC tune; it really wakes it up. Ups the max boost from 6 PSI to 17.

Good luck with the CTTS! Hope you love it, and sounds like it's the smart move for you.

Loving this truck. It handles like a Porsche. So tight. And while it won't give me the violent rush of my 991 TT on acceleration, it has quite a bit of go to it (flash coming). I see why people praise PDCC. Car turns flat. Long bending curves on the highway that would have caused people in the passenger seat to tell me to slow down in my Range Rover Sport feel as though you are taking them at speeds 25 miles less than you are. And those brakes. Wow. PCCB's really scrub off speed. The truck for me combines the luxury, utility and performance that I can enjoy every single day. Right move for me.

Or maybe I should just get a 991 turbo S with standard PCCB and PDCC

Great idea enzom! One should never discount the driving performance of PCCB and PDCC equipment. TTs is truly amazing performance package...it has everything! If to own TTS and CTTS is best situation to be in.

I didn't realize your TT didn't have PDCC/PCCB.

those are truly night and day differences.

I'm sure you'll really enjoy the CTTS!

as much as I love my CTT, I likely will upgrade soon to the CTTS if only for the PDCC/PCCB.

Get both, 2 totally different machines with different purposes! I'm loving my Cayenne TTS as well. The porsche sports exhaust sounds awesome, consider installing that one.

I can't see myself owning both now. I would just get upset that I couldn't drive the 991 as often as I would like. I'm loving the Cayenne. It hauls.

I'm going to wait until September, if Meisterschaft doesn't have an exhaust out by then, I will buy downpipes and the factory sports exhaust kit.
