Finally back..PART 2
Finally back..PART 2
Well the first Turbo S I showed you guys bout a week ago was very short lived. A couple days after purchase I was in my garage admiring my new toy and I noticed the front hood was mis aligned. When i popped the hood this is what I found...
Long story short, Rector took full responsibility and unwound the deal, however made no effort to replace it...So I DID!..at Michael Stead. My salesman, Phil Horta, hooked it up. This car has more options too (metallic paint, burmester sound system, sun roof, etc). I was a first time buyer at Stead and they treated me like family. No BS, just gave me rock bottom pricing, better money factor, and dropped my payment $100/mo. They also sold me on pre paid maintenance for $1500 whereas Rector had inflated the cost to 2600 and then offered a friends/family 40% disc to entice me to take bait. Lesson learned and glad all is behind me so i can enjoy before winter arrives.

So that wasn't in the CarFax? Just looks like it was body work with replacement parts that are not OEM. Not sure otherwise what the story behind the pictures is.
Actually I just looked at my frunk lid and Poland is where that part is made so that isn't the issue.

car was sold as Brand New off the showroom floor, 30mi, never registered, dealer claims they had no knowledge of repair and as far as they knew it came from factory in that condition. They also obtained port records which came up clean.
Beautiful Vehicle and optioned right. Actually it all worked to your favor. Hope you enjoy it!
Great ending to a sad story. In 1986 I bought a new Mercedes 560SEL. I didn't notice anything but a paint expert friend asked me when the car was repaired. I said never but he pointed out the repair. Nobody but an expert would have seen it. Checked with the Benz dealer, a good friend, & they knew nothing about it but said they would look into it. Turns out it was damaged in shipment & repaired at the port. The dealer told me this type of damage does not have to be reported to anybody as considered "still at factory" while at the manufacturer's port facility. Just sayin'
