Mounting of Cobb Accessport

I ordered the Cobb Accessport yesterday and was wondering where to mount it. Please show where you put yours!

I don't have a pic but I mount mine on the air vent using a Kenu Airframe. I just close that vent off and have the AP there right about eye level. Works for me and I didn't have to drill any holes or use Velcro.

You didn't use the vent holder from Cobb?

That must be something new because I don't believe it came with my AP ( or it did and I totally overlooked it). I also bought mine a year ago (997.2) so that could be why.
Either way, vent mount is the best for me since it's about gauge level

Many guys, including myself, have had good luck with these:

Amazon.com: Arkon Windshield Suction Car Mounting Pedestal Holder Dual T Pattern Compatible: Cell Phones & Accessories Amazon.com: Arkon Windshield Suction Car Mounting Pedestal Holder Dual T Pattern Compatible: Cell Phones & Accessories

The Accessport cradle will slide right into that mount. Just check with your local laws. In some states it is illegal to have suction mounts on your windshield. Any mount that uses that dual T pattern will work with the AP.

The AP does come with a mount that adheres using double sided 3m tape, but people often do seek alternatives.

We actually did a custom cable that goes in the glove box. pull it out when you need it, put away when you dont. might be cool to mount, but be a shame to mess up that dash in any way. $.02
