My feedback:
Admittedly, I am a COBB "fanboy" and justifiably so. They have earned my respect and have continued to earn it well past the initial sale. That being said, I am also a huge fan of data and don't take bull**** from anyone. I'd never sacrifice my car or anyone else's for the sake of making a vendor a couple extra sales. Here is my recap of the day.
It did seem like a slow Atco day as Tom mentioned. The morning provided the best times because after lunch it heated up and everyone started running worse. Some other cars that run typically much better did not do as well today.
jmorgans car (COBB tune and catted exhaust only) ran SOLID throughout the day. John ran 10.3 three times and also trapped as high as 131.9 (although we both thought it trapped high 132 but could not find slip so 131.9 it is). 10.36 was best and backed up with 2 10.37s. He easily ran his car 30 times, and sometimes 5 times in a row (no joke). John's car ran like a beast today. He didn't want to use a water sprayer although I really tried to get him to do so. I'll repeat, he ran back to back to back several times and his car was dead nuts consistent all day long. I think the longest time between runs was 10 minutes. It's also worth noting that it is a turbo, not a turbo S. Tune, catted exhaust, stock and wornout Pirellis, period. Torture tested. It was a true testament to not only Porsche engineering, but also the reliability and consistency of COBB's tuning. I'd love to see what some intercoolers and additional bolt ons would do to this car.

Jyupitt1's turbo s convertible also ran really well and consistent. He was also just running COBB tuning and an exhaust, although his was catless. Stock Pirellis. After a few tricks and a map update, his car laid down respectable 10.6@129 with 1.6 60's. We didn't get a lot of runs with this car but I think with some cooler weather he could get it down to 10.4 and 130-131.

Robboost car unfortunately had a hardware issue (boost leak in fact), which was easily detected by sending a couple logs to COBB. I think if Sam could have flown in to help, he would have. Dude was on top of it. Ultimately, after a couple attempts to fix it, a decision was made to get the car was packed up and trailered back to RSW to get sorted.

Overall, the COBB cars were extremely consistent and the slips will prove that. If the guys feel like posting, you can see the consistency throughout the day, even hotlapping. The two COBB cars, especially jmorgan, had the most runs of the day by far. Throughout the day we also sent logs to the COBB crew, Jon and Mitch, who reviewed and provided feedback on the cars. They made one map tweak after lunch for each car and then after reviewing those logs told us they felt comfortable with those maps and would not go farther because the IATs were climbing since the air temps also did (both guys are running stock ICs). I took the liberty of looking at all the logs myself for both cars to confirm there was no "kill" map loaded as was mentioned today. I was actually embarrassed for whoever was part of that rumor. Anyway, AFRs were good, no knock, and zero to minimal timing correction on either car. I think that speaks volumes above going a few hundredths faster, one time. You decide.

Kudos to SDG for the fastest time and recorded trap of the day, running the full bolt-on Champion/GIAC package. I would have liked to see it go faster with all the mods but it wasn't in the stars today. It would be great to do this again before it snows and see what the cars do in better weather and with some additional prep. I don't think the DAs were as good as the forecast said but oh well. Anyway, I'll bring the flaggers next time!

Great and very Accurate reviews

My times were killed by poor traction. The mods produce way more power at launch that Pilot Super Sports can handle. The car needs r compound tires for drag events. With them I think I would have been more like 10.1 but I could not get power down at launch. Very frustrating

Nice meeting you today. I did see some good 1.5 60's from you but something else was holding you back, especially on the back half. R compounds won't net you better than 1.5 60s btw. I'm not sure about tires getting you 10.1 either because if that was the case your traps would be about 5mph higher. From experience my bolt on, pump gas 997.2 had the same 1/8 mph and could only best a 10.2-10.3 at 133-134. Not a huge difference in the 997.2 and 991s other than the PDK is better and the intake ducting.
I know something else that would help you towards your goals
cough cough, COBB and Sam, cough

Really Scott, Chris and the guys all said you were super cool and fun to hang with. Looking forward to more track days and ALL getting even better times! The By Design 678's will produce some smiles I'm sure of it! Stage 4 will be in the 9's! Doing a bunch now! I really miss this stuff so I will try to get to the next one.

Yes I did get a bunch of 1.5 60foot times but alas they were all in the afternoon when the 1500 foot DA held us all back. My tires were happy in the afternoon with the warmer temps but My engine produced more power in the cook morning with its much better DAs. Had I been running r compound tires the car would have had a killer run in the morning. Most of my best runs were in the hot afternoon bc my tires hooked. But that hot air did not yield the best power

The DA didn't help, that's for sure. Jmorgan's car was also cutting 1.5 60's in the afternoon and only running 10.4s and a few 10.5s. Jyupitt1's car actually picked up speed later in the day and ran the best time of the day his last run I believe. That was a little odd.

Yes the shame of it is that yesterday Atco's DA was a Lot lower

By the way for those who are interested in exhausts, SDG's tubi catless was way quieter than my fabspeed catless from the inside, in a good way. It could be that my car is a cab, but there is NO DRONE with SDG's Tubi Catless. In my car there is quiet a bit of drone in lower RPMs, for those who want a louder exhaust inside and out, this might be a good thing. But for me personally, Tubi Catless would be a better setup.

We did have a newer map made by COBB on the fly later in the afternoon. Before that i was running .7/.8
