Pirelli P Zero OEM tires
Hi when you guys keep refering to Michelin Pilot Super Sports your not on about the Cup 2's just the normal MPSS non Cups yes?
Reason is here in the U.K apart from the Cup 2 the normal PSS are non N Rated tyres are you people using or reffering to the non N Rated ones or using the Sport Cup 2 which are N Rated?
Reason is need a set of 4 new tyres for the 991.1 tts which is used a Daily Driver and the only options & availability in the N Rated is follows
Sizes:
245/35/20
305/30/20
Brands:
Pirelli PZero N0 & N1 (91Y & 103Y)
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 N0 (91Y & 103Y)
Dunlop Maxi Sprort Max Race N0 (91Y & 103Y)
There doesn't seem to be any options out there in the market
Unless am looking in the wrong places?
Also are important is it to use the N Rated tyres as that seems to be limiting the choice and if W nip going for the PZero will the new N1 Compound be the better option even though the car came with PZero N0 as standard?
Thanks

Tyre life is the issue as used as a daily hence don't want to go down the cup 2 route but apart from the PZero N Rated tyre there doesn't seem to be any more options unless am searching in the wrong places or the N Rated is not as important?
FWIW, P Zeros specified for the 991 worked fine for my 2015 991 TTS over about 12k miles, including about eight track days. Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini fit P Zeros at the factory, so while the popular wisdom on the forums is that Michelins PSS (not Cup 2's) are better in terms of handling and wear than P Zero's, go for them, although my recollection is that there is no N spec MPSS fitment for the 991.
Just picked up a 2015 TTS with Pirelli OEM P zeros 7500 miles. Had a 2015 GT3. Have new PSC2 but would not use them as DD. Not great in rain. I am in Seattle. Had MPSS on GT3 from October to March due to weather. New MPSS coming out soon 2017 along with new continental tires. Have Bridgestone RE-71 for my GT4 but haven't worn out my Dunlop sport Maxx OEM tires yet. No 305 sizes on Bridgestone RE-71 yet. I am much easier on tires than my instructor friends LOL.
