I just wondering why you are the only one with GIAC 9 sec tune that have this results, just like the Champion .2 that is the only one (from a lot of .2's with the packg) that touch 9 sec. in the 1/4 mile LOL

Either way you have to keep up with the big boys now, your a little behind with your new toy :D

Yeah I floor the 991 and I'm just waiting for something to happen its sooooo slow. I'm de-sensitized to speed. Pretty sad. Right now even my daily driver M3 is quite a bit faster. I am really looking forward to seeing what this car will do with as few mods as possible running ethanol.

I knew the mod disease would recur pronto

Just a note that I want to share... Sambo stock upgrade turbos are not the same (size and system perse) than the EVOMS turbos system, EVO have much bigger turbos and are not a upgraded stock ones, they are new turbos that came with specific headers, wastegates and boost controller. That's one of the reason they can reach 850HP, it's not that upgraded stock turbos can't reach the 850HP mark, but it will require another specific parts to achive it.

Sambo/TIAL Upgrade stock turbos (just complement with ByDesign IC's and COBB tune)

And As I understand it those other turbos are not VTGs but have fixed wheels which makes for slower spooling up and less power down low

Hello guys,

I want to chime in to correct some mistakes.

Our name is ESMOTOR not EVO as you wrote ;)

We went 9,51 sec at 1/4 mile with our bolt on package with 68mm VTG turbos.

60-130 mph acceleration was 5.43 sec.

Out performing every other VTG powered 991TT/S in the world.

Then with our Garrett based turbo kit we have gone 9,39sec in 1/4 mile.

Turbos were even smaller in compressor side, NOT very big as you mentioned.

We used Garrett GTX3067 turbos. (not 3076) They have 67mm compressor exducer.

Indeed it is 1mm smaller than our billet VTG wheel. ;)

Bigger turbine side on the garrett turbos made the difference.

Hope everything is clear now.

Btw, your claim on ''worlds fastest 991 on pump gas'' is quite aggressive. I have seen better numbers on pump gas to be honest, anyway, congratulations.

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know that you guys have a packg with VTG's... On the title I put in "the new world" reffering on "America" LOL but like I said I don't know if is true or not hehe ;)

Q. Can you explain how you guys achive that numbers (ET and trap) with the VTG's? There is not to much room to get over the things everybody is getting "trouble" with it (like fuel cuts) or you guys must have an amazing track! ;)

Emre@Esmotor Jan 3, 2016 04:11 PM

Haha, sorry i read it like a ''world'' statement.

Correct fuel selection, ECU tuning and water/meth injection is the key for these kind of powers. Thats all i can say.

I dont want to get into details because of competitive purposes, as you can understand.

We havent touched stock fueling system, engine and transmission.

We never had a single problem with fueling so far... knock on wood LoL.

We have upgrades coming like stroker kit, standalone ecu, new billet intake manifold with additional injectors, build pdk etc... We will see how it goes :)

webcarconnection Jan 3, 2016 04:18 PM

Ok good luck with that :)

In the meantime I will enjoy my achivement here in "the new world" hahaha ;)

SamboTT@ByDesign Jan 3, 2016 04:21 PM

Emre has been doing an outstanding job out there. Those are amazing numbers we will shoot for on this side of the world. Next thing for us is to play with methanol. It's going to open a lot of doors I agree. So much gets involved like fuel specifications, alignment, track prep, tires and more. Even TCU software. Emre is going to tune one of our stage 4 customers via Cobb AP. Can't wait to see how it runs with methanol

So far you are holding the torch here web. Can't wait to see how she does with real fuel!

Thanks my friend, I just love this "games" lol

Awesome stuff Emre. I'm sure you have found the stock fueling limit. With 850 hp how close to the limit is your 68mm vtg kit?
