Hmmm, there are VTG upgrades out there that work and work well. Tial has been working on the upgraded housings for sometime now and it's getting close to being available. There will be something for everyone because some guys will still want to look completely stock.
Everyone of my Stage 4 guys knows what's coming in that I have them covered if they choose that route for more juice!

LOL my upgrades work just fine, just ask the other cars
My bad they do work better than stock no question about that, but when I think of turbo upgrade that means big horsepower to me. For the cost there is little return that is not worth it to me when something a lot better is right around the corner. Most everybody with these upgraded turbos will be using them as paper weights when the new custom ones come out.

Remember there will always be something better in the works. Naive to think otherwise. As with options there is also a time erosion /cost value to be factored as well. While one awaits that holy grail 1000 hp monster turbo the op is enjoying his power today. By the time the rendering gets sorted, materializes, installed and worked out....... most are on to the next.
It's not just that. There's always varying stages that suit specific needs. If a customer satisfied with a 750hp stealth bolt-on beast stage 4 is a win! Yesterday! It's a nice place to be especially considering nothing else needs to be upgraded. If one should want more that is coming too. And it's awesome that there will be multiple vendors offering multiple options

This is true some one else will always have something else in the works, So Im just picking which upgrades im gonna jump in on. I am however a little envious of the extra power you guys have right now. What really sucks is that I'm not patient person so this waiting is killing me.

Lol hey Mark I bet $1000 that the Champion Upgrades will not perform a lot better that what I have right now... Is not to much room to grow in a VGT's and if they are a lot of difference I just call Sam and install the same "best thing" that you are waiting for.
Not saying that Champion upgrades are bad, they are gonna be more or less the same that other upgrades that other companys will offer with the same specification.

Posts like this is why I rarely participate on this board anymore. You're purely guessing on what Champion upgrades will be capable of. You have no idea what they are capable of but you back it up with a, ohh I'll bet you a thousand that it's not better.. Then follow it up with the, BUT if it is I'll reach out to my tuner to install comparable mods. None of us know what any tuner is capable of currently, I'm sure they ALL are working on their version of the next big thing. I understand people want to support the companies they went with but this is getting really old. To me your post crossed the line of supporting a company and was a slight to another company. Users can't even post that they are excited about a new upgrade coming out that they are getting installed because they don't want to argue/get a response just like you posted. This board use to be a place for anyone to ask a question, post how much they liked their mods without getting a response of "well mine will be better" it's just childish. I hope a lot of the members who have pm/emailed me speak up and come back. We all can be happy for each other, no matter who tuned the car. I really do hope people understand where I'm coming from.

Been moding cars for a lot of years now, and you learn a lot of things in the process, I was reffering that with a VGT's upgrade you will get more or less the same performance no matter what company will sale it... A 68mm with the larger compressor that can fix in there will put a max of whp it can, it doesn't matter who sale it to you.
So sorry if you don't understand what I was saying, but your post was a little heavy

Do you really think we've waited this long so that we can release the same upgrades that everyone else already offers?? If I wanted to release 65mm or 68mm turbos, I would have done that over a year ago before anyone else even knew how to tune a 991 Turbo. We've had both 65 and 68's in our shop since they were first made.
Who do you think develops these turbo upgrades with Tial? But what sense does it make to sell someone $5000 turbos that don't add anything to their performance? Yes, I know there are cars with upgraded VTG's out there that are "fast" but the reality is that stock VTG cars (with less bolt-on parts!) are just as fast. Same 1/4 mile times and within 1 or 2 mph in the half mile. Is that REALLY worth the money? Our goal is to release something that will make it so stock VTG cars don't even come close!
What we're working on is different, and I'm sure many are going to copy it. In fact, I already know that it's being copied. But the fact is we spend a lot of time designing and engineering our products so that they're perfect. If you don't want to wait, go ahead and buy something else. Those who are willing to wait will get a thoroughly tested and developed product that performs exactly the way we promise, backed with the ONLY full vehicle warranty in the industry.
If you're happy with your car that's GREAT. I like Sam and I have nothing against him at all! In fact, we're friends and we talk almost every week at least. But I really don't understand why you love to take EVERY opportunity to say something negative about our company??

Hey Tom, nothing against your company, really... If you guys are making another alternative to the 991 (beside a VGT 68mm) that is not like the EVOMS 3071 or 3076 upgrade that don't use the ECU to control must of the things, and no need external wastegates, etc will be awsome... I believe a Larger than 68mm VGT is the way to go.
