2/3 the way down the runway theres a drainpipe that runs underneath. Bad dip on the outside of both lanes. No prep at all over than the rubber left by those of us that CAN do a burnout. Cough "918 cant burnout "cough!! 😆😁

So true! The dip down the runway could cause some issues as it may unsettke the car. However, I don't mind it but then again I haven't kit 200 MPH either!

Mike, with the smoking turbo, I ran a 9.71@143 about a month back. However, the car is in CA getting non VTG turbo's put on along with intercoolers and some fueling stuff. I hope it's back before VA but my goal was Ga. Its already faster then the 918 and now it will be much faster...

i would like to take this opportunity to talk about something that i have taken up as a topic that many dont think about. SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
i purchased all new sfi3.5 suit gloves shoes and 2010 snell full face helmet. the car we drive run as fast as some serious racecars and in a half mile event it takes close to a minute for a safety crew to get to us if we have an off event. this video hits home with me because the driver thought he had good enough equipment.
i have seen 200mph+ lambo drivers in shorts and a t shirt. 150+ drivers in jeans and flip flops. the distance and the speeds demand we take a look at what COULD happen if we bust a fuel line blow a tire or worse.
we drive expensive cars. buy some saftey gear and WEAR IT!!

just rememebr the best firesuit on the market gives you 30 seconds of protection. think about that the next time your dumping c16 into the race car. its not very long i have the full outfit in sfi 3/5. gives a maximun of 10 seconds. not reassuring ill tell you!
