KAW's 991 911 Turbo S Project
They will be for track use only, I'm getting ET Streets for them and will want to save the tire for the track. Will be interesting to see what kind of 60' I can get out of this.

Looks perfect! Thanks for being the first to try out orange wheels. Way to lean in
Is Mickey Thompson calling their Drag Radials "ET Streets"? ET Streets used to be bias ply tires with a couple grooves (to get DOT approval). They'd be 26x10.5 for instance. If so, Im happy they make them in 19". Been through a lot of ET Streets and ET Drags.

I was a bit thrown by the nomenclature as well. I had "ET Streets" on my big block Camaro a longgggg time ago and they were what you described (not really a street tire at all). Below is what I'll be trying on the pcar.
On a side note, I'm headed to my first PCA meeting in a minute. It appears it is going to rain, I wonder if that means I'll be the only one there.
Was thinking of trying one of these "Arrive and Drive" PCA things myself.
Re: The ET Streets, that's crazy. Obviously you remember the same tires I do. Like driving on a mattress on the big end of the track... kind of nerve racking. It sounds like ET Streets are now drag radials? Probably a good thing
And I see your BB Camaro and raise you... Mine were on a Trans Am.
ET streets are pretty amazing. I picked up OZ's in 18's with MT ET streets on my 997.2 TTS and my first attempt at the drag strip it snapped my rear axle. The 19's don't have as much side-wall and so it won't hook up as well but then will probably spare you from my fate of a snapped axle.

Hmm... You might say I had a thing for f-bods... the TA was my first car, and I still have it.

I briefly thought about upgraded axles but they aren't needed unless u launch on slicks or DR's which I don't plan to do ever again. Besides if I break something I much prefer busting an axle and not the PDK.
Lightly used OZ / MT Centerlock 18's are now for sale lol.
What kind of 60' have you been getting? Maybe it has been posted before, but probably easier just to ask you than to internet stalk you.
