Thanks Guys!

Yes, A long time racer and good friend once told me "9's are like going 201 Mph". Takes a lot of effort. There is something about getting below 10 sec or going above 200 that takes a very special and potent combo, especially in a daily. These cars have it!

It is a tall order for this platform but if anyone can do it Jeff can given his willingness to do things with the car that most of us would be too cautious to do or couldn't afford the consequences of the risks.

None of us know what the car can do with nitrous C16 water meth injection and a big turbo upgrade and suspension modifications

9secs is not easy, especially with a daily driver.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks,

Well I notice it's not in DD mode since it has the drag tires on it. Nigel, that is impressive, is the meth kit on there permanently so that you are DDing with it? I think you are also catless but isn't that technically illegal in CA? It is here in Texas. So to me, a DD would have to be completely street legal. These cars are not going to be sub 10s in street legal mode I don't think. OCICBW...............

Anyway, that's great that you broke 10.

To me, street legal is aterm that is often used loosely. Keep in mind, you can remove many so called emission controlled parts from a vehicle and tune it where it then runs even more efficientand cleaner vs. stock. Ask me how I know. Same with tires, many DR tires are street legal; however, it may not be the best tires to use under any weather conditions.

There are many tuned/modified vehicles running sick ET’s that are driven daily without pissing off many of these “tree huggers”.

As far as personal accomplishments, sub 10sec under the so called “street legal” mode is possible with the 991 TT/S platforms. I understand that it may appear like a huge obstacle to some folks who can’t seem to be able to run quicker than stock times even with some mods...to those I’ll say: Driving Plays a Huge Role!!! Many folks would slap on parts and can’t drive worth a lick and because of that, they take the “impossible or it can’tbe done” brush and use it to paint everything – performance/racing wise.

Thank you; I will continue to keep pushing.

Yes, DD mode as drag radials were to optimize the goal. Im confident she will do 9s on stock oem wheels. Gotta find the time to prove. Meth is installed but only there when needed. Kind of like race fuel.

Btw Ca regs are a different animal altogether. One may feel compliant however my undrrstanding is that any vehicle with non CARB compliant exhaust or emissions alterations would currently fail CARB regs as it sits including your vehicle. So in other words the perception of street legal is relative.
