By Design, IPD, Cobb Tuned- 991TT - Breaks in to the 9's!

My goal was to 10.0 at Red List.

Ran MT streets at rear and summer 21s out front.

Trailered to the event and left after a run with a PB of 9.96.

As a previous comparison:

Best 1/8 mile MPH @115
Best 1/4 mile MPH @143

I do think we can get a little quicker ET out of her with stickier 20s out front and playing with rear psi.

I do plan on going back to the track again very soon.

Until then I'll be daily driving and enjoying while getting ready for the next event.

Congrats Nigel. It's been a long time coming and a lot of effort and hard work has gone into this achievement. I'm very glad you were able to check off yet another of your goals with the car. Keep going bro

My man! Numero Uno By Design Stage 4! Thank you for your faith, enthusiasm, friendship and extended effort to raise the bar. It's been an awesome journey ans we wanted to see that nine so bad. I love that there is more on the table and we don't have to stop. That would be boring LOL great job my friend!

And really? The one time I don't come you bang it out first shot? Maybe I should stop going to the track with you guys and keep knocking up my wife hilarious

Thank you, any data on how much the meth decreases temps and adds HP on a dyno or at the track?

From my personal experience, I was against meth for the longest time but recently added it and wish I did it sooner. My iats don't ever get above 15 degrees over ambient. The other day during and after a pull my iats were 10 degrees below ambient. Y pipe was freezing cold to the touch. It's not for everyone but it certainly helps both keeping things cool and knock suppression.

Thanks Mitch to both you and Jon. Cobb is proven performance and since Pikes Peak has been pushing. This is just another step along the way!

Meth is not for everyone but here is a bit of information from the leading distributor of these systems.

A finally atomized mixture is injected into the combustion chamber at precise times. The water enters the combustion chamber and decreases the inlet air temperature by up to 100 degrees more than any air to air intercooler. One of the highest octane fuels on the planet, methanol, enters the combustion chamber and spikes the effective octane of the fuel you are using by 25 points. Combine the two together and you now have one of the coldest air charges possible and a octane monster running race gas!

Water-meth kit will lower IATs up to 100 degrees instantly! This means denser air charge for more efficient power.

When injecting a 50/50 mix of water-methanol the effective octane of your fuel will increase 25 points! Turning 91 octane pump gas to 116 Race Gas Quality fuel!

Because your vehicle now has much colder IATs and impressive octane you can increase boot and ignition timing for HP gains of up to 20%! Or add it on top of high octane fuel/E85 for significantly cooler IATs and added safety.

This allows for much more aggressive tuning safely to make more power. Timing can often be advanced 10 or more degrees in the power band. Boost can often be increased 5 or more PSI. Air/fuel ratios of around 12.5:1 can be utilized even in high boost applications.

Haha OK guys I will keep in my pants, thanks for the reality check! Until I figure out how to clone myself I will try to keep up enough Sambo to go around and that includes having a great time with all my friends here!

Josh, when you're ready for some more crack I got you and you know you can hit me up anytime for a detailed answers bud.
