This is my wife Debbie's 1st run at a 1/2 mile event. We were driving a 2016 stock Camaro SS it had about 700 miles on it. Of all people we lined up against Tony with BBI he was running Jason's 1,000hp 997 that was converted to 2 wheel drive, I think he chickened out didnt want any part of the Camaro lol. Debbie hit a little over 138 which was the top run for that car this weekend, we will add a goodie or two and improve on those times for October. Pretty funny video at the start.

That damn Tony. Awesome man and that trans is impressive. Gotta get her in the 140's!

 

Yep Sam thats the goal for next time low to mid 140's, The trans really works well the only thing that I dont like about it is the Paddle shifters there is still a lag from when you change gears manually to when it shifts no where near as bad as the last gen trans but its still there somewhat. When you leave it in auto at events like this it shifts great. For a road course where I like to paddle shift It still needs work Im wondering if that can be fixed with electronics?

 

I think they are working on it. But look into the SC kits. You get a lot for your $ on these cars! I am here if you need anytihng.

 

Ill check them out, I was thinking NOS, If I put a SC on it it will end up getting hot at the track. Maybe just put a real big pulley on it for track us to keep the boost down low and swap out pulley for 1/2 mile events.
