I cant say enough about the customer support and service that I get from Sam at By Design. I have been in contact with Sam every day on the phone and by text for the past month while we have been discussing the details of my new build . We got on the Dyno Monday and Sam and the Team at Cobb really did some awesome work to my car we put down a whooping 747whp and 715ftlbs look at that torque curve, the car is a flat out beast. When I started this build with Sam I told him I wanted over 700hp and a 180ish mph 1/2 mile car, I listened to all the suggestions and great idea's Sam had and we ran with them. Thanks to the new turbo configuration and tweeks on the new meth set up we were able to hit over way over our original goal. I will keep everyone updated on track results which will be coming soon. Again I want to thank Sam and everyone at Cobb for there awesome work they have done to my car.
Super excited Mark! Glad you went out even without the tires because now with the NHRA lic it's on! Great work and cheers!
Thanks Bobby! We can get there on 91/meth but it's too aggressive and risky. Everything is based on just under 100 octane. We hit close to 770 on the dyno and saw the turbine limits. So here we are all happy and sleep good!
Launch control just blows the tires away so I just let off the brake and stabb the throttle and play with it a little and it's a wild ride doing a crab walk at 80mph, but moving out as well.

That ByDesign Stg4 is a deadly weapon of a package.
What does she trap on pump and meth without race fuel?
Congrats!
Ive only tried my one tune I'll run other tunes when I get good tires and can get some consistency
How come E85 hasn't been used yet on your setup...fuel system limitations?

Exactly. However, we do have a car getting a full system installed right now. Had a few little issues otherwise would've been on the dyno already. Opening this week! Exciting times!
681 and we also had a map with lower boost for the road course at 640. One really nice thing is that the way we set it up you could just turn the methanol on and pick up 40/50 to the wheels safely on demand!

Wow that's amazing Sam as from what Mark says it's just for iat suppression and not fueling.
Did you get the 40-50 from just turning the meth on (seems unlikely) or did you guys do a meth map with more timing/boost?
Hey, the way we have it set up we pick up 40 to the wheels just turning it on. The 681 map went to 720. But we also made a map that pushes a tiny bit for the methanol hence the 747. Got Close to 680 but we were not comfortable there neither was the PDK. The way we have it even on the 747 map if the methanol runs out the car will get a little pissy but it will be OK. Maybe after the trans we can explore more.
