991 Turbo Winning at Red List

Well,
I got this the other day Fastest Euro at the Red list, and my wife was running the bone stock Camaro and won the closest to 13.00 with a 13.03 she did that on her first run( ever in any car ), her best of the day was a 12.84 I was to cheap to show her how to take off traction control and do a smokey burn out to heat the tires up and lower her ET. Ill save that one for her next time besides she needed to get a couple runs under her belt. Well they sent us the $5 trophies and forgot to send the $225 we won. I told her, see I can make some real money with these cars she just laughed.

Also got my NHRA card that day now Im good to go 7.50 Hmm what can I put together to go that Quick!

Carlos, maybe a newer C-6 or C-7 Vet got any Idea's?

I don't understand the NHRA card? What does that allow you to do? What is the requirement for this card?

Congrats Mark...good deal.

Funny, I got my NHRA license/card running a Camaro as well...how crazy. A 1998 Camaro RS with a small block single turbo and a load of other goodies.

Nowadays I play with the Coyote 5.0 Mustang...much cheaper and more readily available go fast options vs the C6 and the C7. Example, I was able to dry-sleeve the 5.0 block and full machining and so on for the same cost of a set of race prepped All-Pro LS7 heads.

C6 and C7 Z06's are cool; have one of each...C6Z for drag racing and the C7Z for street/road racing. My advise...play with a mustang. But then again, at the highest racing level, any make/model would be costly.

Thanks,
E-Gear
