When you are trying to get rid of all the 92 octane out of the tank before running a couple of 1-2 gallon "fills" of 104 before that Sunday of pure, uncontaminated 104

 

I'm in the same situation..how far on the "miles to go" can one go before she stops do you think...your pics looks like you pretty much tapped her dry ?

One time I ran it all the way out on the way to the track with a can of race gas in the trunk. Pulled over when it was out and filled up.

 

Thanks for sharing, I didn't realize it would go that low. Last 1/2 mile event I vastly underestimated the fuel efficiency of the car even while driving spirited to the event I had way too much pump gas in the car. This weekend I'll do a much better job of emptying it out prior to adding MS109.


This was for Tx2k16... 2-3 days of drag racing and got my race gas tune made up on the spot, so wasn't sure how much street tuning we'd be doing. Had I participated in some of the nighttime activities 'in Mexico' I probably would have used up all 3... when you are chasing something like a Lambo on those long straight roads at high speeds, you end up hours outside of town without realizing it... but this year I chose drinking instead.

Don't feel too bad, I just paid $88.35 for 5/gal of VP MS109. They're bringing it to an event for me though. When I go directly to a boat store and buy it myself, it runs me around $75 for 5/gal.
