I will most likely add winter tires to my new TTS cabriolet. I won't drive it in sloppy weather; I've got a GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab for that. I will drive it on cold, sunny days.

For those of you who are putting winters on their car, are you putting them on your OE wheels, or did you buy a separate set for the winter tires. I've always had two sets of wheels, but there are limited choices in center lock wheels.

 

Dennis, I am having mine installed tomorrow on my existing Center lock wheels. I tried finding another pair of wheels, but the were 12" in rear and the rear recommendation is 11 or 11.5 rim for the 295 winter size as the winter tires are a bit more narrow.

 

I will probably do the same thing for this winter season until I figure out what I want to do about winter wheels.

 

I mount the Michelin Pilot Aloni PA4 on the stock rims. My summer Pilot Super Sports are mounted on OEM sized ADV1s -- ADV005
Track Spec CS with titanium fasteners

 

I may be selling my winter tires off my 2014 TTS. Used for 1 season. WIll throw up a FS post when I have a moment.

 

Too bad you're not closer to Colorado.... I might be interested.
