Porsche 911 GT3 RS v Porsche 911 Turbo S head to head
Porsche 911 GT3 RS v Porsche 911 Turbo S | evo LEADERBOARD head to head. (Looks like a 991.1 TTS)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqCQfuLtVxs A poster stated: "Please everyone know before making any statement that the Gt3 RS is using Cup 2 tires and the Turbo S normal street PZero not even Corsa" |
YOU FORGOT ANOTHER THING!!
GT3RS runs on 265/325s vs TTS runs on 245/305s |
Classic case of greater power and AWD tractions coming out of corners vs lower weight and more grip
|
Looks like it was rather close. After being in a mind bending track session with a pro driver in a 991 GT3 on slicks, track alignment, converted steel rotors from pccbs and race pads, its good to know our cars can be just as capable.
|
turbo looks a lot easier to drive. gt3rs is using opposite lock several times. the average driver would probably end up going off easily at these speeds
|
Don't forget, the new trend is more complication and added elements to be a part of a sensation. I see this with my refound joy for Vinyl and all of the accouterments. Could this be the fascination with a new 6 MT for the GT3?

Amazing the Turbo S got the same time as the GT3 RS considering it was only running P-Zero's. Given a much larger track, the Turbo S would probably gain a substantial advantage.
|
I imagine there may be a few of our GT3 RS cousins slightly butt hurt ?..I'd like to see the 991.2 run against it :D

+1 The TTS would be quite a bit faster if it was wearing the same rubber. Why cant we ever see a comparison wearing the same shoes?
Still an awesome car i'd love to own though. |
