My first Portch

My first Portch
Took the plunge, Decided to finally man up and get a real sports car.
I decided a 991.2 Turbo would be the most entertaining way to go.
I drove a 991.2 Carrera S which was an absolute hoot at the dealership, then found this Turbo and fell in love with the colour, and thought if a Carrera was that fun, a Turbos gotta be even better.
It has
250 - Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
342 - Seat Heating (front)
425 - Rear Wiper
439 - 20" 911 Turbo Wheels
489 - Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel
529 - SportDesign Side Mirrors
581 - Luggage Net In Passenger Footwell
583 - Smoking Package
630 - Light Design Package
653 - Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof In Glass
852 - LED Headlights Incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus)
970 - Two-tone Leather Interior
A7 - Graphite Blue Metallic
BG - Leather Interior In Graphite Blue/Chalk
P07 - Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) With Memory Package
XNS - Steering Column Casing In Leather
XSC - Porsche Crest On Headrests

I haven't seen/driven the car yet, but that's a 911 turbo S from the auto show thats the same int/ext colour combo.
Anyway, I'm super excited. I can't wait for my car to be delivered. It comes with 6 years of warranty which I'm pretty happy with. Unfortunately it means I may be waiting a while before I flash the ECU, if I ever do.
Immediate plans are for either a sharkwerks exhaust or a kline one, i.c.w headers. Maybe Plenum/Y-pipe.
Should be loads of fun.
I'm hoping the car arrives on tuesday and is ready to go then.

Congratulations that is exciting. You're going to love it and has more people put miles on their .2 cars they're noticing this after break-in power increase even more! Shifter is correct there's lots of friendly dealers who leave and install everything for you it just depends on who. Let me know if I can help with any of that. Take lots of pictures when you get it!

Just FYI while the exhausts sound intoxicatingly good, I've counted at least three times in 2000 miles where I'd have figured my chances of getting tagged and cited for speeding at 80% if my car were louder. The stock system really flies under the radar, so the police often don't bat an eye (which is very good). Up to you which is better overall.
I have too many points on my drivers license right now so it's good to be less conspicuous for a little while.

Congratulations! But it's technically NOT a sports car, since it has 4 seats...but makes a great grocery getter (I can get a good $1000-$1500 of **** in there when shopping at Costco!)
And she's uber-quick and handles better than most sports cars!!
Probably the best overall car in its (and many above) class! It does everything one could want in a sports car, and better than most other cars. I think that's what makes this thing so damn great!

So quick update.
Little cheesed off, still waiting to take delivery. The truck hauling it in broke down. Dealership gave me a cayenne e hybrid demo since they took my trade in a week ago so that's nice. Still unhappy though.
Can't wait to drive the turbo.
I think tomorrow is the earliest it'll be here.

Waiting is always the worst part. You'll quickly forget all about it once the car arrives! BOL for a quick delivery.
